Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, uploaded photos), usage data (pages visited, features used), and technical data (IP address, browser type). For face-swap features, we temporarily process face geometry data — see our Biometric Data Policy for details.

2. How We Use It

We use your information to provide and improve the Ovation service, send transactional emails (e.g., board delivery notifications), comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud and abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing of Information

We share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, payments, email delivery, AI processing). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

• Right to Know: You may request disclosure of what personal information we collect, use, and share about you.
• Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Opt Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. If this changes, you will have the right to opt out.
• Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Board content is retained until you delete your board or account. Biometric data is destroyed within 24 hours (see Biometric Data Policy).

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
